Our Idyllic Farm in South Tyrol

The name Ganovhof originates, like several other place names in the Venosta Valley, from Rhaeto-Romansch and means “new field".  And that's exactly where our Ganovhof is located, in the “new fields” next to the village of St. Valentin auf der Haide. Several fields, meadows and farmland belong to the farm, which was newly built in 1997 and already run by Sybilles parents, Karl Probst and Hedwig Fritz. Ever since Sibylle , her husband Adrian and their children Manuel, Alex and Thomas took over the farm, we have been carrying on this agricultural tradition with great passion. Our connection to nature and the well-being of our animals are very important to us.

Our hens, cows and goats enjoy all the benefits of a modern farm. There's plenty of free space indoors and outdoors, loving care and only the best food for our animals. Here, you have the opportunity to experience life on the farm and to even help out, if desired.
